Frankenstein 1931 original classic Young Frankenstein 1974 Mel Brooks

A Halloween DOUBLE FEATURE! The 1931 classic horror film FRANKENSTEIN and the 1974 comedy YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN provide a great Halloween event! In the original FRANKENSTEIN, an obsessed scientist assembles a living being from parts of exhumed corpses.

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is an American comedy film directed by Mel Brooks and starring Gene Wilder as the title character, a descendant of the infamous Dr. Frankenstein. Young Frankenstein ranks No. 28 on Total Film magazine's 'List of the 50 Greatest Comedy Films of All Time.'

Come early to enjoy the special Frankfurter bar and locally brewed beer in the Marquee Room.

Come dressed as your favorite Frankenstein character for the Costume Contest! As you enter, costumes will be judged for a chance to win one of four prizes which will be announced at intermission! More fun during the event will include an act from the current American River College production of the musical Young Frankenstein.

This film showing is sponsored by Gateway Real Estate.
